Code Like a Girl is driven by a collective of passionate women looking to level the playing field within STEM industries. As the result of a recent rebrand the Code Like a Girl team were looking to develop a digital strategy and user experience that could transform their website and bring it to life.
After launching an initial bare-bones website, the Code Like a Girl team and I worked hard to establish a look and feel that would speak to its demographic of both women and young girls. It was integral to balance the playful nature of the brand with its innovative, progressive path.
Code Like a Girl have traditionally relied on classroom based learning and in-person events to provide teaching and networking opportunities respectively. However, due to COVID-19, they have had to shift their strategy to offer a range of online courses. I worked with the team to quickly turn around a set of new pages to promote their exciting range of online courses.
